Each of the 15 pieces of the pendant is cast in 925Ag Sterling Silver or Bronze, total length 7.5cm extending to 5.3cm width 7 doublelinks looking like Swivvels attached to an open tube with Viking spiral decoration
carrying 7 bell shapes believed to ward off evil or have been used in Medieval times to attach several threaded bead hangings.
The treasured hand-carved bone sewing needles were wrapped in a piece of cloth and stuck into the tube, which firmly held it in place and was always at hand as sewing kit. The pendant is attached in three places to a doubled flat black leather strip with adjustable knot closure. 23BS bells separately available as pendant in Silver $8.25 each 23BB bells separately available as pendant in Bronze $5.75 each
We also use the double links as chain between two cloak pins.
