raw cast in 18ct White Gold incl fitted wedder, sprue still attached, requiring sprue to be filed off, the rings filed into the final shape, edges smoothed, sanded, polished, diamonds set and polished again.

Silver Spiral Rim on Viking drinking horn with hand-engraved Runes
1. Alloying the silver
2. Drawing wire
3. Rolling flat silver strip to achieve required thickness
4. Measuring thickness
5. Soldering wire-bound flat silver strip together as circle
6. Quenching annealed (glowing) silver circle in cold water and pickle in Sulphuric Acid
7. Shaping silver circle according to individual horn circumference
8. Soldering silver wires onto top and bottom edge of silver strip and pickle in Sulphuric Acid
9. Shaping wire into flat spirals and positioning them onto silver strip with sticky tape
10. Drilling holes and Riveting spirals onto silver rim
11. Riveting polished silver rim onto Drinking Horn and seal with Bees wax
