LP Gas Regulator Number 2 for LP Gas Torch ( either Propane or Butane Gas or a mixture of both)  

with gauge (easy to read large dial) 
fully adjustable from 50KPa up to 600 KPa = 10-90psi

Type 21 inlet (= CGA 510 = commonly referred to as POL valve) for large bottles e.g. 9kg (in Australia by far the majority of gas cylinder fittings),

3/8" BSP LH outlet = A-fitting

(or on demand available with 3/8" inlet for some 2 or 4 kg camping gas bottles) Please find more detailed description of the different connection types below at the bottom of this page.

The No. 2 ngp LPG regulator is specifically adapted by an Australian company for the German Precision LP Gas Torch to go up to the setting of 600KPa and allow the torch to work to its maximum capacity, especially with the smallest tip, which has a tiny opening, so the extra pressure forces the gas through that tiny hole, offering a longer and pointier extremely precise flame and avoiding blocked tips. The regulator No 2 has a gauge, which accurately shows the chosen pressure setting
Flow rate: about 340 lpm (rated in air).

Flashback arrestor not required.

Flashbacks only occur using a fuel gas in combination with oxygen.

The conversion rate for KPa:

1 KPa = 0.145 PSI
200 KPa : 6.895 = 29 PSI
4 – 6 Bar = 400-600 KPa = 58 – 87 PSI

Different fittings:

Type 21 (= CGA 510 or POL = more common) connection between large LP Gas cylinder outlet and the regulator inlet:
inside diameter of the female outlet of the gas cylinder: 20mm
Corresponding to the outside diameter of the thread (male connection) at the regulator inlet: 22mm

British 3/8" connection = A-fitting: inside diameter of the female nut at the end of a torch hose 15mm
Corresponding to the outside diameter of the thread (male connection) at the regulator outlet or gas cylinder outlet: 16.25-16.5mm
outside measurements of the hexagonal nut 19mm (could vary according to manufacturer)

German & Australian 5/8" connection usually between LP Gas regulator and micro welding torch:
inside diameter of the female nut at the end of a torch hose 14.55mm
Corresponding to the outside diameter of the thread (male connection) at the regulator outlet 15.85mm
outside measurements of the hexagonal nut 19mm (could vary according to manufacturer)

American 9/16" connection = B-fitting: inside diameter of the female nut at the end of a torch hose 12.7mm
Corresponding to the outside diameter of the thread (male connection) 14.25mm
outside measurements of the hexagonal nut 17mm (could vary according to manufacturer)

American fitting only required, if you are planning to attach another American LP Gas Torch to this regulator at some stage.
