They started the family business of manufacturing custom designed fine jewellery. 30 years of sharing the knowledge in goldsmithing and design, graduating in Tafe Courses for Small Business Skills, Drawing Skills, Tour Guiding, gaining her Workplace Trainer certificate and running her own Gymnastics Club lead her to tutoring art, craft & jewellery making skills. The two children contribute to life being continuously developing in a never-ending learning process.
In her creations Dörte is drawing & sculpturing in various materials and uses different techniques like carving or embossing. Her inspiration could come from driftwood and rock formations, created by nature’s forces and the flowing forms of art nouveau. She strongly believes that every person is very unique and should find her/his individual style, especially in jewellery. Esthetic, Quality, Comfort and wear ability are of greater importance to her than fashion moods. *1962 Germany 1986 Immigration to Australia Qualifications: 30 years Experience in Fine Jewellery Design, Drawing, Pearl threading, Goldsmithing, Metal Sculpting, Customer Relations, Bookkeeping, Accounting & Webpagedesign through family business 2007 Designing own webpage 2006 Leaders for vibrant communities Workshop 2005 e-business & e-commerce Seminar from Seacc Bega 2005 Leadership skills workshop from Seacc Bega 2005 Senior First Aid 2002 Visual Merchandising & Marketing Workshop at Tafe, Bega 2002 Tafe NSW Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training 2001 Tafe NSW Certificate IV in Tourism (Eco Guiding), incl.
